'Happiness', this ten letter word definitely has a particular meaning in the dictionary, but has a specific meaning in everybody's mind too. Thats the miracle of this word. And obvisouly it gets each time updated by our experiences and special moments each day. Its human nature to tremendously react to situations and be quite open to things that merely mean nothing to others.
In reality there are many such words that we can describe differently yet they mean the same. I found something constantly wonderful about this specific word called ' happiness'. I gave a small kid one chocolate and asked him, 'are you happy?' He smiled back ,gulped in the chocolate and asked me for more happiness. Similarly, when I told a school going boy, that its a holiday tomorrow; he said, " I know its a Sunday tomorrow ". As I passed a silent smile, he said, " Happiness is me waking up as a big man, done with all studies and exams ".
Yes, its seriously amazing that we cover our desires with this small word. All our hopes and needs are queued up, in a row one by one. Its not wrong to be different than others or be dreamy, but at times I do wonder that at night when I find the stars shining and smiling at me, where do they actually disappear in the day. They still stay there and their brightness is overcome by the day light. This is a message for all of us, when our time comes we will shine brightly, but till then if you cant stay calm and patient, we will mess up the beauty of life.
Life is;happiness a little more and a little less at times. I have seen majority of the people giving a smile when they are happy. Some go in tears when they feel happy, but why so many emotions mingles up when our mind feels contented? Its just because we have a limited version of reactions. We feel happy, we smile. We feel sad, we cry. We feel contented we again smile. Something good happens we smile or laugh out loud. It revolves around different versions of smiles and cries.
When we are happy we smile and sometimes we even cry ( the so called 'khushi k aansu' or tears of happiness), but when we are in serious pain and crying we find it difficult to smile or laugh. This clearly proves that happiness is a mixture of emotions. And your way of reacting to happiness and my way will definitely not be the same. But most of the time it will revolve around a cute smile. Just like the one you got on your face right now. Don't control, smile it out and be happy.
