Amit Shah's lessons on Dignity of Labour.

 In his debut speech in Rajya Sabha for his new innings as a member of Parliament, Amit Shah stated about the poor condition of India during the Congress rule.

Amit Shah attacked Congress for our country's unemployment and praised the Modi Sarkar. He highlighted Modi Government's achievements.

Shah said, " I am not denying unemployment. But this is after you (Congress) ruled the country for 55 years. Why couldn't Congress find a solution for this? "

When PM Narendra Modi said, " Selling pakoda is a job", former Finance Minister Chidambaram Pillai said, 'If selling pakoda is a job, in that logic begging is also a job.' To this, Shah replied by explaining that selling pakoda is also a job, as it is better to sell pakoda's rather than being jobless. As he believes it is better to work hard rather than be unemployed.

Chidambaram had emphatised the condition of a poor man selling pakoda. He mentioned that if we ask this poor man about his ambition, he too wishes to get a regular and secure job. A man selling pakoda is honourably self-employed, but poor and aspirational.

Shah insisted that like Mahatma Gandhi and Deenadayal Upadhyaya worked for upliftment of the poor sections of the society. It is Modi's strategy to work for the betterment of the poor sections of the society.

Shah mentioned that women previously were quite unsafe. They even had a major issue of defacating in the public. Through PM Modi's Swachh Bharat Mission they built up toilets for girls and women living in urban areas and also those living in the Lutyens zone will not understand the importance of having toilets at home. It is a matter of hygiene and comfort for girls and women.

Shah mentioned clearly that he can show that GST ( Goods and Service Tax ) was passed with Congress's approval too, but now they go out and call it as ' Gabbar Singh Tax'.

Amit Shah tried to fully support the 2018 budget with a positive energy and cleared many comments raised by the opposition members in this regard. He mentioned about the growth that India has undergone under the Modi government.

Strikes ? Hartals ? Bandhs ?  It takes a few seconds for me, to recollect and understand the difference between strikes, bandhs and hartals. But yes I must say, when you speak about the beauty of Kerala you cannot miss your thoughts on the ' Hartal state'. Most of the time people in India use this as their medium to communicate, or to convey their pain, or even their demands. What makes me wonder is, is this the only way? Shutting down shops, burning of buses,cancelling trains etc, are these the only things that we can do? Injustice for Justice ???

The Central government has cleared the elevation of senior lawyer Indu Malhotra as the Supreme Court judge. By this elevation she becomes the first women lawyer to become the judge of the Apex court directly by the recommendation of the bar. The elevation of Justice KM Joseph of the Uttarakhand High Court is kept on hold. The file of the collegium recommendation was sent to the Apex court on 22 nd of January 2018, and the processing was over by the first week of February 2018. But the decision was kept on abeyance as Justice KM Joseph could not be elevated....
