Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is ready to do other film like 'Padmaavat'. In her interview with 'India Today' she shares how fearless she was throughougt the relase of the movie ' Padmaavat' and the nuisance created by Karni Sena.
Padmaavat is really one of the very rare movies that experienced a backlash so severe. Deepika says, " I am not someone who succumbs, and is totally fearless especially when I know I am doing something right". Her parents were only concerned about the matter that she is a single girl living in a city all by herself. But they were sure that she can very well take care of her.
She recollects an incident when she was 14 years of old and walking along the streets of Bangalore. While she was walking with her mother, a man brush passed her. She proudly recollects that she went back, held his color and slapped him right away. This incident made her parents sure that Deepika can very well take care of herself. So, when she left home around 16-18 years of age to make a career, she knew her parents had complete faith in her.
Its is indeed difficult to understand why were the Karni Sena so frustrated with the release of this movie, as it is in totality a tribute to to the Rajpooths. It is a celebration of womenhood. It is a work done with loads of dignity and all need to respect it.
Deepika says it is the toughest role ever played by her. As there was a lot to be said, yet be silent; she had to convey everything through body language, royalty and dignity. She plays the character of a true warrior. It was very hard to work as ' Padmaavati' was a warrior in spirit, soul and heart; and so it was challenging to convey the message of the movie.

She speaks about a scene in the movie where Padmaavati's husband is abducted, she got not a single moment to show the pain or loss but smartly handle the situation.

Karni Sena were not happy with the movie release as according to them it had mis-interpreted Indian history. Deepika feels that being a part of such controversial movie is challenging in many different ways. She says that it is entirely life-on-hold when we work with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Its a great experience though.
It is boring to talk about the process of being an actor as the output can be seen on screen. But in real life, it takes a lot of time for the character to leave them.
When most of us are ready to stand for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's freedom of speech. Deepika is curently not interested in recollecting all the voilence created by Karni Sena due to differences of opinion, but has decided to celebrate everything the film is giving her right now.
