A boy and a girl knew each other since childhood. They were neighbors and used to often visit each others house. Then the most common but precious thing happened. They fell in love with each other. Yes, this is the story of many youngsters these days. But, Ankit Saxena from the Khayala area of Delhi, had a very brutal end to such a love story.
Ankit a 23 year old talented, smart and handsome youth fell in love with his cute and pretty neighbor and childhood friend. But, unfortunately this love story dint lasted for long. It was around 2 years that these couples were seeing each other.
The villains in this story were his girlfriend's whole family. They opposed this relationship. But the couple decided to stay in love. It was indeed suprising that, people and wild animals are now having no much differences.
On 1st February 2018, Ankit was slit by his girlfriend's family. His girlfriend's mother, father, uncle and younger brother are all the accused. All the three accused's except the minor younger brother; are arrested and are in judicial custody, and the younger brother who is in juvenile home. In an open area of Delhi's Khayala region. When almost 1000 people were watching, Ankit's parents could not get any hand to save their only son. They were yelling in pain and shock, but nobody could hear it. The whole crowd turned deaf and dumb.
Ankit's family and friends are clearly asking to not to give this brutal incident a name of communal fight. They were approached by few political parties to take action, but his parents asked them to keep his family and friends out of it. His father said if the accused get punished, it is more than enough for him as their only son is no more now.

Now whatever be the decision of the court or the final state of all the accused: can it give back the life of Ankit Saxena? We do hear stories of love failure and call it as Laila-Majnu story or Devdas-Paru style. Many people conclude that love wins after death and their love story will be recalled in history. But I am pretty sure, that during his last few seconds, Ankit did really wanted to hold his mother's hand and tell her, ' Maa me thik hojaunga, rona nahi...' (' Don't cry Mom, I will be alright'), he might have felt to console his dad too. He definitely wanted to hold his girlfriend's hand atleast once for the last time and to then hold it forever. He left his dreams untold and unseen. He struggled through an unbearable pain, which unfortunately he could not overcome. Just few minutes back, he was waiting to see his girlfriend and he could not see her till the end. He will have surely not have imagined his name to be found in the history of love books but would have wished to give his parents and love a goodbye hug.

Ankit's father is shocked and feeling helpless as it was in front of him his son was stabbed badly and slitted to death. The attackers were just four, but there was a huge crowd on the road still staying calm and not reacting to this cruelty. Cruelty, infact is a less severe word in this case.
